No. On a tandem you are attached to an instructor throughout, and the short briefing happens on site just before the jump. There is no test, no fitness assessment and nothing to learn beforehand.

We set no minimum age for a tandem passenger. Anyone under 18 needs written consent from a legal guardian, brought on the day. There is no upper limit either — health and weight decide, and with a child also whether the harness can be fitted, so write to us before buying if the candidate is very young. The AFF course is separate: that one starts at 16.

100 kg as standard. The tandem equipment's approvals cover the combined weight of instructor, passenger and rig, so above that a jump can sometimes be arranged individually. Write to us before buying rather than on the day.

Not for a tandem jump. You sign a declaration that there are no contraindications. That does not mean there are none — the list is in our safety guide, and where there is doubt a doctor settles it, not a form.

Recent injuries, particularly to the spine, shoulders and knees, and recovery from recent surgery are contraindications — the landing is dynamic. That is a question for your doctor.

Usually yes. Fear of heights fires on a reference to the ground — an edge, a ladder, a glass floor. At 4,000 metres that reference is missing, and many people do not feel it at all.

About 60 seconds from 4,000 metres, at up to 200 km/h. After that come several minutes under an open canopy, and that part is quiet.

Usually less than half an hour from take-off to landing. The climb to 4,000 metres takes most of it, typically fifteen to twenty minutes, and the jump itself, from exit to landing, is a matter of minutes. You will spend several hours at the dropzone though, because the order of jumps follows the weather and how busy it is.

Not falling — wind. It is closer to lying on a very strong jet of air than to going down in a lift. The stomach-drop you know from a rollercoaster barely happens: the aircraft is already moving fast, so the air carries you from the moment you leave it, and within a dozen or so seconds your speed stops rising.

Rarely. Eat a normal meal, because an empty stomach makes weakness and nausea more likely. If you travel badly, tell the instructor before boarding; the canopy can be flown more gently.

Yes, nobody is pushed: if you decide in the aircraft that you will not jump, you ride back down with it. If you think you might waver, tell the instructor before boarding rather than in the door.

With the code from your voucher, through the booking page. The date is not set at purchase — the voucher is valid 12 months and you choose within that.

We set a new date, at no extra cost. Whether jumping happens is decided at the dropzone on the day, by looking at the wind, the cloud and the visibility rather than at last week's forecast. Mornings that cannot run often become afternoons that can.

Better not to. A forecast helps you plan, but the decision is made at the dropzone on the day and often differs from what a forecast suggested.

Plan for the day, or at least several hours. Do not plan a jump for the day before a wedding, a flight or anything else that cannot move.

12 months from issue. The date is printed on the voucher, and you can check the code's status at any time on the voucher page.

Yes. The code is what counts, not the name on the document, so somebody else can use it provided they meet the age and weight requirements.

The code is in the e-mail we sent once the payment cleared, and on your order page. If you have neither, write to us — the address the order was placed with is enough.

Usually within seconds: the voucher is e-mailed as soon as the payment is confirmed. If you schedule delivery to the recipient for a later day, your own copy still arrives straight away. The order page shows where things stand; the link is on your confirmation and in the e-mail.

By BLIK, an online bank transfer or a card, through the Paynow gateway, and the voucher goes out as soon as the payment is confirmed. Online payments are handled by mElements S.A.

Yes. Tick the invoice box at checkout; the tax id is enough and we pull the rest from the register. A company outside Poland picks its country, gives its VAT number and types in the address.

Yes, and they apply automatically when the vouchers are bought on one order. The current thresholds and rates are on the pricing page.

Photo ID, the code from your voucher, and a guardian's consent if the jumper is under 18. The rest — harness, goggles, jumpsuit — is waiting at the dropzone.

Comfortable sportswear and laced shoes. No flip-flops, heels, scarves or jewellery. Hair tied back.

Yes, under goggles. Mention it at the briefing so the instructor picks a suitable pair. Contact lenses are usually more comfortable.

No. Nothing is carried in your hands on a tandem, and a loose camera can fall or snag on the equipment. If you want footage, choose a variant with the instructor's hand-cam or a camera flyer.

No, and that includes the night before. Anyone under the influence does not jump that day. If the jump is part of a longer plan, put it at the start.

Yes, at no cost. Take-offs and landings are watched from the ground without restriction.
