Do I need any experience?
No. On a tandem you are attached to an instructor throughout, and the short briefing happens on site just before the jump. There is no test, no fitness assessment and nothing to learn beforehand.
What is the minimum age?
16 for a tandem. Anyone under 18 needs written consent from a legal guardian, brought on the day. There is no upper limit — health decides, not age.
What is the weight limit?
100 kg. It comes from what the tandem equipment is certified for, so it is not a number that can be negotiated on the day. If you are close to it, write to us before buying rather than on the day.
Do I need a medical certificate?
Not for a tandem jump. You sign a declaration that there are no contraindications. That does not mean there are none — the list is in our safety guide, and where there is doubt a doctor settles it, not a form.
Can I jump after an injury or surgery?
Recent injuries, particularly to the spine, shoulders and knees, and recovery from recent surgery are contraindications — the landing is dynamic. That is a question for your doctor.
I am afraid of heights. Will I manage?
Usually yes. Fear of heights fires on a reference to the ground — an edge, a ladder, a glass floor. At 4,000 metres that reference is missing, and many people do not feel it at all.
How long is the freefall?
About 60 seconds from 4,000 metres, at up to 200 km/h. After that come several minutes under an open canopy, and that part is quiet.
How long does the whole jump take?
Around fifteen minutes from take-off to landing, of which the climb is about twenty. You will spend several hours at the dropzone though, because the order of jumps follows the weather and how busy it is.
What does freefall actually feel like?
Not falling — wind. It is closer to lying on a very strong jet of air than to going down in a lift. The stomach-drop you know from a rollercoaster comes from accelerating relative to something fixed, and here it barely happens.
Will I feel sick?
Rarely. The most common cause is jumping on an empty stomach, so eat a normal meal. If you travel badly, tell the instructor before boarding.
Can I back out in the aircraft?
Yes, nobody is pushed. The voucher is spent, because the aircraft flew and the slot was taken — so it is better to warn the instructor before boarding than in the door.
How do I book a date?
With the code from your voucher, through the booking page. The date is not set at purchase — the voucher is valid 12 months and you choose within that.
What if the weather does not allow jumping?
We set a new date at no extra cost and the voucher keeps its validity. Whether jumping happens is decided at the dropzone on the day: wind, cloud base and visibility. Mornings that cannot run often become afternoons that can.
Can I cancel myself based on the forecast?
Better not to. A forecast helps you plan, but the decision is made at the dropzone on the day and often differs from what a forecast suggested.
How long should I set aside at the dropzone?
Plan for the day, or at least several hours. Do not plan a jump for the day before a wedding, a flight or anything else that cannot move.
How long is a voucher valid?
12 months from issue. The date is printed on the voucher, and you can check the code's status at any time on the voucher page.
Can a voucher be given away or passed on?
Yes. The code is what counts, not the name on the document, so somebody else can use it provided they meet the age and weight requirements.
I have lost my voucher code. What now?
The code is in the e-mail we sent once the payment cleared, and on your order page. If you have neither, write to us — the address the order was placed with is enough.
How long does the voucher take to arrive?
We issue it once the transfer clears, usually within one business day. Throughout that time the order page shows where it stands; the link is on your confirmation and in the e-mail.
How do I pay?
By ordinary bank transfer. We show the details after the order and send them again by e-mail. The order reference goes in the transfer title — that is how we match the payment.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes. Tick the invoice box at checkout; the tax id is enough and we pull the rest from the register.
Are there group discounts?
Yes, and they apply automatically when the vouchers are bought on one order. The current thresholds and rates are on the pricing page.
What should I bring?
Photo ID, the code from your voucher, and a guardian's consent if the jumper is under 18. The rest — harness, goggles, jumpsuit — is waiting at the dropzone.
What should I wear?
Comfortable sportswear and laced shoes. No flip-flops, heels, scarves or jewellery. Hair tied back.
Can I jump wearing glasses?
Yes, under goggles. Mention it at the briefing so the instructor picks a suitable pair. Contact lenses are usually more comfortable.
Can I bring my own camera?
No. Only the camera flyer films — that comes from regulation and safety. If you want footage, choose a filmed variant.
Can I drink beforehand?
No. Anyone under the influence will not be cleared to jump and the voucher is spent for that day. If the jump is part of a longer plan, put it at the start.
Can friends come and watch?
Yes, at no cost. Take-offs and landings are watched from the ground without restriction.
