Tandem or AFF — where to start
Two different paths. One takes a day; the other starts something that lasts years.

The answer is simpler than it looks: a tandem if you want to experience it, AFF if you want to do it.
Tandem
You are attached to an instructor who handles everything — exit, freefall, opening and landing. Nothing to learn beforehand; the briefing takes a quarter of an hour on site. From 1,150 zł.
AFF
Your own canopy from the first jump, preceded by ground school, with instructors flying alongside. You jump solo once the programme is complete. 6,900 zł for the course.
The differences that matter
- Responsibility: entirely the instructor's on a tandem; progressively yours on AFF.
- Preparation: minutes versus a full ground school.
- Time: one day versus several jumping days, weather permitting.
- Age: tandem from 16 with consent; AFF from 18.
- What you keep: a memory and a video, or a skill.
As a gift
Almost always a tandem. It asks nothing of the recipient beyond showing up, and the voucher stays valid for 12 months.
