About Skyluma
Tandem skydives from 4,000 metres over Pomerania — and everything worth knowing before you book one.
What we do
Skyluma runs tandem skydives near Gdańsk, Poland. We jump from 4,000 metres — full altitude, where freefall lasts around 60 seconds at speeds approaching 200 km/h. The instructor then opens the canopy and you spend a few quiet minutes over Pomerania.
Alongside the jumps we run the AFF course for people who want to fly their own canopy, and we sell vouchers — most often as gifts.
Who tandems are for
A tandem needs no preparation and no prior training. Most people who jump with us are doing it for the first time in their lives.
- From age 16 — under-18s need written consent from a legal guardian.
- Up to 100 kg of body weight.
- No medical conditions that rule out physical exertion.
- No experience — the whole briefing is a quarter of an hour on site.
How we treat safety
Tandems fly on equipment under a periodic inspection schedule, with a qualified instructor responsible for the exit, the freefall, the canopy and the landing.
We do not jump to a schedule. If conditions are marginal we move the date — the one decision that is never a compromise. The voucher keeps its validity and the new date costs nothing.
How buying works
You buy the voucher once and choose the date later, within 12 months. It is a bearer document, so it can be given away.
Prices are quoted plainly, VAT included, and cover the equipment, the instructor and the ride to full altitude. Nothing further is added at the dropzone.
A real dropzone, real jumps
People, preparation, decisions

A jump starts on the ground: with the briefing, practising the body position, preparing the canopy, and deciding whether conditions allow the aircraft to go. The instructor is responsible for the exit, freefall, canopy opening and landing.
These photographs were taken during real Skyluma jumps. They show the preparation at the dropzone and the moment after landing — no stock photography standing in for our work.
