Skydiving in Gdańsk and the Tricity

A tandem jump from 4,000 m over northern Poland. No experience and no training needed.

Skyluma runs tandem skydives near Gdańsk. We jump from 4,000 metres — full altitude, which gives around 60 seconds of freefall at up to 200 km/h. The instructor then opens the canopy and you fly quietly over Pomerania for several minutes. On a clear day the view from altitude runs from the Bay of Gdańsk along the Baltic coast.

A tandem jump needs no preparation and no course. You stay attached to an instructor who handles the exit, the freefall, the opening and the landing. Your job is to look around.

Who can jump

  • Complete beginners — that is who most tandem jumps are for.
  • From 16 years old; under-18s need written consent from a legal guardian.
  • Up to 100 kg body weight.
  • No medical conditions that rule out physical exertion.

How the day works

  • Arrival, paperwork and ID check.
  • A short briefing: body position on exit, and lifting your legs for landing.
  • Harness on, and into the aircraft.
  • The climb to 4,000 m, with a view over the Baltic coast.
  • Exit, roughly 60 seconds of freefall, canopy, flight and landing.

Weather

Skydiving depends on wind, cloud base and visibility. If a jump cannot go ahead on the day, we arrange another date — the voucher keeps its validity and no money is lost, only the date moves.
