Tandem skydiving with video
A hand-cam captures your reaction up close. A camera flyer shows the tandem from outside. Compare three ways to film the same jump from 4,000 metres near Gdańsk.

Choosing a camera changes your keepsake, rather than the jump. Every tandem package includes the instructor, a flight to 4,000 metres, about a minute of freefall and a landing under your shared parachute. Filming is done by the instructor, a separate camera flyer or both. Start with what you want to watch afterwards: your reaction at close range, or the whole tandem against the sky.
Hand-cam: your reaction up close
The camera stays with the instructor, so it mainly captures your face and immediate surroundings during freefall. It suits someone who wants to remember the expression on their face as they leave the aircraft and fall. It travels with you, so it cannot show the whole tandem from a distance. Choose the hand-cam tandem for that close perspective.
Camera flyer: the tandem from outside
A camera flyer is another skydiver who exits with you and films from a separate position in freefall. The frame can show both you and the instructor, your body position and the space around you. This is a different viewpoint even when both cameras record the same minute. The camera-flyer package offers this outside view.
Two cameras: both perspectives
The camera flyer and hand-cam package records both angles. It includes one jump, with the same freefall time as the other tandem packages. The extra purchase is a second perspective: close reactions alongside the wider view of the tandem. This can suit a gift when you want the recipient to have both kinds of footage.

Your own camera and receiving the footage
Your own phone and camera stay on the ground during a tandem jump. You do not have to hold or operate anything: follow the briefing and enjoy the jump. We hand over the material after landing. If a particular file format, transfer method or edit matters to you, ask before buying. The package name does not promise a particular resolution or film length.
Giving a filmed skydive as a gift
You can buy a filming package as a skydiving gift voucher. The recipient chooses a date during its validity period and meets the same requirements as for a jump without filming. If you are unsure which perspective they would prefer, use the comparison above and contact us before paying.

Frequently asked questions
Does every tandem skydive include a video?
No. The basic tandem has no filming. Choose hand-cam, camera flyer or both cameras. The table shows the current complete package prices.
What is the difference between hand-cam and a camera flyer?
The instructor's camera captures your face up close. A separate camera flyer films the tandem from outside. The two-camera package combines both perspectives.
Can I bring my own GoPro or phone on a tandem jump?
No. The instructor or camera flyer handles filming. Your own camera and phone stay on the ground.
Does a filmed jump last longer?
No. The filming option changes the camera perspective, rather than the exit altitude or freefall time.
