A hen party built around a skydive splits itself into two halves without any help: adrenaline in the morning, talking about it all evening. And because a tandem needs no preparation at all, anyone who fits the age and weight limits can join — no fitness, no experience.

How it usually goes

Most often the bride jumps with two or three others while the rest stay on the ground with their phones. It is a good arrangement: the jump lasts minutes, the whole afternoon is about it. If you want it to be a present, one voucher in her name is enough — she does not need to know in advance.

What happens in those few minutes

  1. 01A short briefing on the ground: body position, the exit, the landing. Fifteen minutes, not a course.
  2. 02Boarding, then the climb to 4,000 metres. About twenty minutes, watching Pomerania get small.
  3. 03The exit, and around sixty seconds of freefall at up to 200 km/h.
  4. 04The canopy opens and it goes quiet — that is when the looking starts, and when you can talk.
  5. 05A landing on your feet, on a marked field, with the instructor.

For a hen party the filmed variant wins by a distance, for the simple reason that a face in freefall looks like nothing any photograph has ever caught, and that is the footage.

Worth knowing in advance

  • Age: from 16, and under 18 with written consent from a guardian.
  • Weight: up to 100 kg. If anyone is close to it, write to us before buying.
  • Clothing: comfortable, sporty, laced shoes. More in what to bring.
  • Alcohol: after the jump only. Anyone under the influence will not be cleared.
  • Timing: the voucher is valid 12 months and the date can be moved, so nothing has to be fixed now.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to be fit?

No. In a tandem the instructor supplies the technique. What matters is age, weight and the absence of medical contraindications, not fitness.

Can it be a surprise for the bride?

Yes. The voucher can be made out in her name and handed over on the day — the jump date is arranged later, within 12 months.

Can I jump with long hair or glasses?

Yes. Hair gets tied back, and glasses go under goggles — tell the instructor at the briefing.

How long should we allow at the dropzone?

Several hours. The order of jumps follows the weather and how busy the day is, so the hour itself moves.
